What Is HJSplit? Think of a file of 20 MB, and try to send this to a friend. Using email this will not succeed, it is simply too large and you won't be alble to store it on a floppy either. HJSplit will enable you to split the large file into smaller chunks, which can be much more easily sent and stored.
HJSplit is a self contained program. That means there is no installation required. Just download the version for your OS (Windows / Mac / Linux). Save to anywhere you desire and remember where it is saved.
Step 1
Logon to our Download Utilities to download your version of HJSplit.
Step 2
Launch HJSplit application and click Join
Step 3
In the "File Join" window, click on the "Input file" button.
Step 4
Choose the files starting with 001 as an extension. All other files with that continue the extension will be added to the resulting file.
Step 5
Click on "Start" to initiate the process.
Step 6
When everything is done, you will receive the final result in the form of the intended file format, be it MP3, WMV or AVI.
Tips & Warnings
Make sure you have all the files to join. If one is missing, you will not be able to complete the process.
